A provisional booking will be held for a period of 14 days. After which time we will require a £
.. non-refundable deposit to confirm the booking.
Full details of the function requirements will be required by the Hotel one month prior to the function date. Any amendment after that period of time must be received in writing.
Full pre-payment must be given to the Hotel one week prior to the function. This is to ensure that your cheque has been cleared and funds are in our account before your function. Any extras requested on the day must be paid for at the time of purchase . No refunds or credit will be given if numbers change after full pre-payment has been received i.e. one week in advance.
In the event of cancellation which must be made in writing to the Hotel the following charges will apply:-
2 calendar months or under 50% of the rate or rates quoted.
The Hotel will endeavour to replace a cancelled function and if successful in doing so may waive cancellation charges.
A reasonably accurate number of guests are required at the time of contracting the booking so that a pro-forma invoice can be raised. Final numbers must be confirmed 24 hours before the function; these numbers will be charged unless your numbers are raised. Once guest numbers are agreed reductions will incur cancellation charges.

Please be advised that table plans/seating arrangements must be approved by our function manager.
Our function room is licensed as follows:-
Monday to Thursday until 11pm Friday and Saturday until 1am Sunday until 10.30pm
The company reserves the right to cancel any booking forthwith without any liability on its part in the event of damage or destruction of the Hotel by Fire or any other cause, any shortages of Labour or Food supplies, strikes, lockouts or industrial action or any other cause beyond the control of the company which shall prevent it from performing its obligations in connection with any booking.
The customer shall be responsible for the orderly conduct of its guests and shall ensure that its guests have regard to any regulations imposed by any competent authority and that nothing shall be done which will constitute in breech of the law. The customer shall fully indemnify the company against any claims or loss damage arising as a result of breech of this cause.
Please note all menu and beverage prices can be subject to increases which are at the discretion of the management. Note. (Two budgets per annum)
Corkage is not permitted at the Waveney House Hotel.
