Christmas Three Day Package 2008
The Waveney House Hotel in Beccles is a magical place to be at Christmas Time. Beccles is a town steeped in history, and with the hotel dating from the 1500s it is the perfect setting for winter festivities.
We've created a three night package that takes care of everything short of buying the presents, allowing you to relax and enjoy yourself with family and friends.

The price is £600.00 per room for a Standard Double or Twin
or £650.00 per room for a Four Post River Suite
Both Prices are based on two people sharing.
Cots and Extra beds will incur a Supplement.
If you would like to stay Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th December we can offer a special seasonal rate of £100 per room per night Dinner Bed & Breakfast.
Christmas Eve
Your room will be available for check-in anytime after 1:00pm. After your arrival the afternoon is your own to pick up any last minute presents, visit relatives or just take a walk through Beccles or a long the River Waveney.
At 4pm a selection of Sandwiches, Cakes and Hot Drinks will be available in the River Bar.
At 7:30pm dinner will be served in the Restaurant served with a complementary bottle of wine.
After dinner the Duty Manager will host a game in the River Bar

Christmas Day
Christmas Day will start with Breakfast in the River Bar. This will be served at 9am allowing time to open presents and ring relatives before lunch is served.
Lunch will be at 12.30pm in the Staithe Restaurant.

After lunch the River Bar will close to the general public and the Duty Manager and the Television will be available for anyone wishing to watch the usual mixtures of Christmas Soap Specials or Christmas Day Films.
The Hotel will also supply a range of board games and cards to pass the time.
At 7pm a Buffet of cold meats, salad and accompaniments will be served in the River Bar for anyone who is hungry to help themselves to. At 8pm a recently released film will be played, for anyone who wishes to watch, on the large screen TV in the Bar. Otherwise the night is your own to spend it as you wish.
Boxing Day
Boxing Day will start with Breakfast in the River Bar anytime between 8am & 10am. Lunch will be served at 12.00pm in the Staithe Restaurant where you will be able to choose your meal from the bar menu.
At 1.20pm a coach will depart from the Bus station to take you to Norwich Theater Royal where the Pantomime will take place. This years Pantomime is Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs. After the show the coach will return us to the hotel where afternoon tea will be available.
As the Boxing Day Evening Entertainment this year we shall hold a race night. A two course meal at 7.30pm shall be followed by a televised Horse Racing event.
Each person shall receive twenty, one credit tokens to bet on the nine races. Within the room there will be four different bookies each with different odds on each horse in each race. You can choose your bookie to bet with and when all the betting is done the Race shall be show.
After the race time will be given to collect your winnings before the bell rings and the next race betting shall begin.
After all nine races the tokens shall be counted and the person with the most shall win a Magnum of Champagne.
